Building a new home on the web

#meta#engineering
Welcome. This is the first post on my rebuilt site.
For years my corner of the web was a static academic page that introduced me as a PhD student. That chapter mattered — molecular communications, EEG, the GLADIATOR project — but it stopped telling the whole story once I moved into software engineering.
So I rebuilt the site from the ground up with a few goals:
- One identity, two strengths. Engineer and researcher, not one at the expense of the other.
- Fast and accessible by default. Static-generated, near-zero JavaScript, works on any device, respects reduced-motion and dark mode.
- Easy to grow. New posts, papers and projects are just files I drop in.
This blog is where I’ll write about the things I build and the ideas I keep circling back to — systems, machine learning, and the strange, fertile border between biology and computation.
More soon.
